Characters: No person shall play no more than TWO characters. It is REQUIRED that the game owners have the name of the character(s) of which you are playing, so that the character/player list can be updated regularly.
Posts/Replies: ADVERTISEMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FROM ANY PLAYER!! If your character(s) need to reply, you have up to 72 hours (that is 3 days) to reply. A player may be excused if they give advance notice for any longer period without replying. All players will be warned three times for these infractions before being deleted from the group. Any advertisement posts will be immediately deleted from the posts and the player responsible will be given a warning. This warning will count toward the three before termination.
Out Of Character Posts: Off-topic posts that are not pertaining to the on going game will be allowed (i.e.: Would the person playing Alexandra please contact me to work out some details?). You MUST place OOC: in the subject line. For example: OOC: Betty Needs to Get a Hold of Rose. This is also allowed at the end of the post, if it is pertaining to subject. Just remember to place the OOC: after the post. Again NO advertisement posts.
Original Fictional Characters: A fairly detailed character bio is required before allowing a player to post for a made up character. All bios will be posted to the list AND listed in the files section of the group.
Pictures: It is not necessary to post a picture of a player's character unless the player chose to do so. It will be welcomed so that we all know what he or she looks like, but again not mandatory.
Powerplaying: There will be absolutely no powerplaying. No killing off of characters that do not belong to you, and no destroying building into ruins. There will be a warning, and it will count toward your three.
I’m sorry if this is strict, the game owners find that these are only the basics. If we all behave ourselves, then no others are needed. A format for players to post their made-up character’s bio is provided in the links above as well as at the groups site; http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/dresden_files_rpg/. No character will be summarily approved or denied as the game owners do not believe in telling their player how to think and how to use their imagination.
