Background
Personality: Thomas is a caring individual who will often go out of his way to help Harry, even if it means putting himself in mortal danger.
History: Harry's half-brother through their shared mother, and, for a while, his roommate. The only living son of Lord Raith (who usually killed his sons because he wasn't willing to feed on them to force them into submission like he did his daughters and feared them attempting to take over), Thomas is incredibly good looking and oozes sexual appeal to the point that he has difficulty turning it off. In fact, Harry has described Thomas as the Lost Greek God of Body Cologne or the High Priest of Bowflex. Part of Thomas's appeal is due to being a vampire of the White Court which feeds off the life forces of its victims.
After almost being killed himself, Thomas's vampiric thirst led to the near death of his girlfriend and lover, Justine, who willingly gave herself to save him. Afterwards, Thomas is cut off from his family in the House of Raith, and, until recently, nearly penniless after paying off Harry's debt to the mercenary Kincaid for his part in Thomas's rescue.
Harry took his brother in for a time, but Thomas eventually moved out of Harry's basement apartment to his own home, paid for with money received from a mystery job.
Thomas attempted to stay "on the wagon" and refrain from feeding, but later revealed to Harry that he had been feeding since he helped Harry stop a group of necromancer's from taking over the world. That night, Thomas got caught up in and joined the Wild Hunt.
Thomas eventually revealed to Harry that his method of feeding safely (by taking little "sips" from his clients) and making a comfortable living (including a very upscale apartment) is through a hair salon/coffee shop he now owns and operates after secretly putting himself through cosmetology school while living with Dresden. Thomas later reveals to Harry his darkest secret; that he and his sister Lara are both members of the Venatori, secret combatents in an eons-old struggle against the old gods in a battle called the Oblivion War.
Thomas' life takes a desperate turn after he is tortured for a few days by a skinwalker who is after Harry. Afterwards, he had a relapse and returned to the Raith household, calling himself stupid for trying to live without sexual feeding and referring to humans as "kine." However his love for Justine is still intact and he still shares a grin with Harry, indicating that hope is not lost.
Strengths: Thomas oozes sex, an ability he uses to great effect when he feeds.
Weakeness: As a white court vampire, his power fails when confronted with an individual experiencing true love. Simple contact with such an individual can cause horrible burns to a White Court Vampire and those individuals are forever free so long as their true love lasts. In Thomas' case this is doubly fatal, as his love for Justine means that he can no longer come into physical contact with her.
Weapons: Tooth and claw, as well as his vampiric abilities.
Other Information: Thomas has lately been keeping his distance from his brother, Harry. Though Harry understands his reasons, he is hopeful Thomas will renew his relationship with him.
