Background
Personality: Strong willed and passionate, Susan once did whatever it took to get her story. This has translated well into her Vampiric existence as she focuses her passion into the fight against the Red Court.
History: Susan Rodriguez was a reporter for the Chicago Arcane, a yellow magazine that covers all sorts of supernatural and paranormal events throughout the Midwest. Usually the events they cover aren't much better than "I had Elvis' Alien Love Child" or "Hitler's Brain Named Top Advisor to the German Chancellor." Every once in a great while, Susan got a lead on a real story, such as the Unseelie Incursion of 1994 when the entire city of Milwaukee simply vanished for two hours (before her time on the paper, but a great example nevertheless).
Susan came in contact with Harry first after convincing him to do a feature story about being Chicago's first professional wizard and later during an investigation in Branson. Since then, if Harry's neck deep in the middle of something, Susan isn't too far behind him, eager to get the "inside scoop" on the situation firsthand.
The two eventually began a romantic relationship that unofficially ended when Susan was bitten by Bianca. Susan is now a half-vampire (and will remain so until she feeds on a human), with enhanced strength, speed, recovery abilities, and narcotic saliva (a Red Court vampire's self-titled Kiss).
Harry had been having trouble saying "I love you" to Susan, and only blurted it out when she went into vampiric bloodlust. Susan recovered somewhat after hearing that. She was captured by Bianca and used as a hostage, but was rescued by Harry. She left Chicago, but not before being asked by Harry to marry him. Susan refused due to the dangers of her half-vampiric nature, although she still loves him.
She joined the Fellowship of Saint Giles, an organization for those who have been harmed by vampires, who carved a magical binding/tattoo into her skin. The binding warns her by changing colors when she reaches the limits of her control.
Strengths: Susan has great instincts when it comes to tracking the leads that lead to the really good stories.
Weakeness: Susan, to quote Harry, "has enough curiosity to get her into ten kinds of trouble."
Weapons: Her pen (mightier than the sword)! Tooth, Claw and her vampiric abilities.
Other Information: Harry and Susan have officially parted ways. Susan is still in South America working against the Red Court as a member of the Fellowship. Lara Raith is astonished that Harry's true love for her is still active enough to make him toxic to White Court vampires.
