History: Sirota first came to Harry's attention after he was hired by a beautiful young woman by the name of Nikki Slovak, who asked him to recover twenty thousand dollars that has been stolen from her Aunt Frieda.
When Dresden located the thief, he discovered that the man had been burnt to a crisp by a deadly supernatural force. After dangerous accusations are made by Morgan, who naturally blames Harry for the incident, Harry took it upon himself to investigate the man's death and discovered that his beautiful client lied to him about the money, about Aunt Frieda — in fact, about everything, including her own name!
When Harry finally confronted his client, who's actual name was Caryn Harris, with what he knew, she fired him — either out of fear, or because she was in the thrall of some dark, supernatural evil.
The supernatural evil in question, was a hellion soul broker known as Sirota. Caryn had actually hired Harry in an effort to free her boyfriend, Matthew Jacobs, soul from Sirota, who had only diabolical intentions for it when it came time to collect!
Nevertheless, Harry risked his life to protect both Caryn and Matthew, as they played a dangerous game against a ruthless hellion that understood the rules of the game far better than they did!
Sirota discovered Harry's plan and before Harry could sever Sirota's link to Matthew, he emolated the young man with hellfire. Unbeknownst to Sirota, however, Bob had taken Matthew's form and replaced him before Sirota arrived.
With Sirota thinking the young man destroyed, Matthew and Caryn were now free from his clutches. Unfortunately for Harry, Sirota has a long memory and his game is only beginning.
Strengths: As a demon soul broker, Sirota has the ability to bind an individual soul contractually, forcing the individual to serve as a demon warrior until Sirota grows tired and destroys them. He also possesses the power of hellfire, the most potent source of fire magick on Earth, Hell or the Nevernever.
Weakeness: Once an individual enters into a contract with Sirota, there is no escaping it through conventional means. However, should one discover a loophole within a contract, it is possible to exploit it. Sirota would be honorbound to comply with any loophole that is discovered.
Weapons: Sirota utilizes the power of hellfire as his primary weapon, although he has other means of getting the job done.
Other Information: Sirota maintains a nightclub in Chicago and can usually be found there if one knows how to ask.
