Background
Personality:
History: Since secretly taking over from her father, Lara Raith has ended all threats to his position of power, removing the leaders of the other two houses and beefing up security. She is currently pushing a peace effort between the Red Court and White Council for unknown reasons, but due to the White Court's nature to be backstabbing schemers and traitors, this is unlikely to be for the benefit of either the Council or the Red Court.
Harry and Lara are currently locked in a stalemate as Harry knows the White King has become a mere figurehead and Lara knows Thomas is Harry's half-brother. Despite the growing hostility between them, there appears to be a great deal of respect as well, in particular from Lara for Dresden's own skills at manipulation and deduction.
Lara has offered Harry a chance to work for her, but Harry turned her down. It occurred after a fight where her and Thomas single handedly stop cold a group of charging uber-ghouls. She has recently repeated the offer for Harry to join her after the two held their own against the formidable might of a skinwalker and when faced with death from the Council, Harry seemed to actually consider it.
Strengths: Lara is perhaps the most dangerous of the White Court, a master manipulator, conspirator and seductress. Above all else her word is always honest; being given safe passage by Lara always ensures she will go to extreme lengths to preserve her word.
Weakeness: Her need to keep her word may be used against her, but woe to anyone who crosses her. Most importantly, as a white court vampire, her power fails when confronted with an individual experiencing true love. Simple contact with such an individual can cause horrible burns to a White Court Vampire and those individuals are forever free so long as their true love lasts.
Weapons: Lara's weapons are natural, tooth and nail, as well as her vampiric abilities.
Other Information: As a vampire of the White Court, Lara has the ability to drain the life force of an individual through strong emotion. In the case of her clan, lust is her means of nourishment as her power can stimulate an individuals hormones into sexual overdrive. Simply being in the same room with a vampire like her has caused many a man to want her, even Harry.
