Background
Personality: Sid is a cop through and through, who really prefers good ol' police investigation techniques over Harry's brand of investigation. As a result of his magical prejudice, Sid is a bit sloppy during his investigations and secretly (and begrudgingly so) relies on Harry almost as much as Murphy does.
History: Detective Sid Kirmani spends his days as an investigator for Chicago S.I. partnered with Det. Connie Murphy. Although he knows for a fact that Harry gets results whenever he consults for S.I. Sid is always very skeptical of Harry's magical powers and usually does his best to mock Harry's abilities by explaining them away or else by calling them nonsense. He is, according to Murphy and Harry both, a good cop who just does not believe and therefore looks for rational, logical explanations for everything he comes across.
Strengths: The fact tyhat he doesn't believe in Harry's "mumbo jumbo" actually forces Sid to often look beyond the obvious, an ability that allows him to find other angles others might miss.
Weakeness: His disbelief can also hamper his ability as an investigator assigned to S.I., a department devoted to the "stranger" cases.
Weapons: Police issue handgun.
